Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026. This policy covers the OTPski iPhone and Mac apps.

Your accounts

OTPski stores account names, setup secrets, and code settings encrypted on your device. OTPski has no developer account, server, analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. We do not receive your accounts or codes.

iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync, encrypted account records sync through your iCloud account. The vault key syncs separately through iCloud Keychain. Turning sync off stops future account syncing on that device; it does not erase records already in iCloud.

Extensions and sharing

AutoFill and the iPhone widget receive short-lived encrypted copies needed to offer or copy codes. AutoFill suggestions share account labels and trusted destinations with the operating system, not setup secrets. An exported backup is encrypted with your passphrase. A transfer QR image contains the reusable setup secret and is unencrypted after you share it.

Your choices

Delete an account in OTPski to remove it from the current vault. If sync is enabled, that change can sync to your other devices. Delete backup or transfer files from wherever you saved or shared them; OTPski cannot remove external copies.
